I've used the Seneca quote before. And there is an old expression in Latin that ought to be the first question asked by investigators into 3/11, cui bono? "Who Benefits?

Those who hoped that the law & order candidates would prevail must now be reconsidering their strategem. What worked on 9/11, i.e. a blind public rage with little thought as to the implausibility of the "official story", seems not to have been possible to pull of with a more sophisticated citizenry in Spain.
