It looks like ZCCM has been pre-occupied with the unbundling of 'A' Package. While FM is the preferred bidder on Chambishi, it is difficult to predict when 'upcoming' negotiations will conclude with ZCCM. There are obvious legal reasons why ZCCM will not want to repeat the Luanshya scenario. There is also considerable upside with respect to the identification of other African projects - now actively being pursued with the assistance of CIBC Wood Gundy and others. DRT
