Why hasn't AQ been concentrating on the US, Britain, Australia, etc?

after the terrorists in Spain murdered and injured so many,

and then spread the word that this was because of the Anzar government felt it was necessary to try to rid the WORLD (not just Spain) of the terrorists and supported the US and Britian in that goal

that the murdering terrorists want to stop ALL smaller countries who try to align themselves with that goal?

THEN, after they have done that, they will try to demoralize the US, and/or worse.....and they then might feel confident enough that they could try to take over the smaller countries while the US was otherwise occupied.
