What is your point here, to come on and make excuses for the worst president of all time, Dubya Bush?

When have I made excuses for him?

I have done only two things here. One, I have ridiculed the most extreme and absurd conspiracy theories that get floated around, things that even Art Bell wouldn't let on his show. Second, I look for balance.

If all you want is rah-rah Kerry is perfect, he is total perfection, there is not a single thing in his whole life he should have done any differently, he has never in his life told a single lie or even white fib, yes our soldiers in Vietnam went around all the time cutting off ears and every person in command including the commanders in chief knew about it and did nothing, that was absolute truth when he testified to it, but on the other hand Bush is absolute and total evil, he has purged more people than Stalin, killed more Jews than Hitler, there is nothing at all decent about him in his entire life, then I feel sorry for you. I'm not playing that game.

I'm interested in honest and factual discussion of Kerry as a potential candidate. Of which, sadly, there is precious little here to date. We still know very little about him. He has worked for years in the shadow of Teddy Kennedy, has never even been the senior senator for a state, has never been in sole charge of any government, not even as mayor of a town, so we really know very little about how he would govern if he were put in absolute charge of the country. And that's too important a question just to slough off.

So why don't we get down to discussing those issues and find out more about this man and whether he would make a better President than George Bush.
