GE to Buy InVision for $50 a Share

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A unit of General Electric Co. (NYSE:GE - News) has agreed to buy InVision Technologies Inc. (NasdaqNM:INVN - News) for about $50 a share to boost its offerings in explosive detection systems and security technology, the companies said on Monday.
GE said the all-cash deal will help 2004 earnings
