Hardly looks like a "simplistic commodity spike" to me. I was almost tempted to list for you about a hundred non-commodity price spikes that I've posted over the last few months. Nah, it's too much work for me to do this for ostrichs, and besides you know where to find it.

I do understand this concept. However, people don't need income to fuel this inflation, they have access to plenty of cheap, under priced borrowing power to fuel it.
