If we were concerned about the Spanish election, if for no other reason, then we should have shown our solidarity. We can't whine too much about the Spanish vote if we did nothing to show that we're with them as we expected them to be with us.

I haven't had TV news on much lately but I watched during this period. We get 24-7 coverage when Princess Di dies but there wasn't much rapport with Spain evidenced on either CNN or Fox, not while I was watching.
