John Re..Yes, and no. They ran on a platform of removing the troops from Iraq. Yes they did. However, the Socialists were losing in the polls big time, on that issue. The bombings swung the sentiment to them, not the soldiers issue. Hopefully, the new prime minister, will enforce an even tougher campaign against Al Qaeda, so terrorism, doesn't win in the end.
