In Oregon when your unemployment benefits run out if you are not yet employed you are now not considered unemployed anymore. Makes little sense obviously but keeps the unemployment rate way down.<g>

Oregon has one of the higher unemployment rates nationwide just imagine how high it would be if they actually counted those who are not working?
