From my pov all terrorist attacks are politically incorrect.I don't know what a politically correct terrorist attack looks like.

Hey, I didn't say "politically correct" I said "politically witless" vs "politically intelligent". An attack three days before a close election that looks likely to have swayed the results can be characterized as politically intelligent, imo.

My real question - and it's an open question in my mind - is, who is the real audience for these attacks? For most of AQ's attacks, they made the most sense to me when viewed through Lee Harris' "fantasy ideology" viewpoint: the real audience were potential sympathizers in the Muslim world, the Westerners were just props in the play. This attack was different - as different from previous AQ attacks as it was from previous ETA attacks.
