The joy in lefty land, over what happened in Spain, will be short lived.

What joy?

The primary lesson in Spain, is that Al Qaeda, not Iraq tipped the election; and You can bet Al Qaeda will keep on reminding the world, what happens to all who dare to oppose terror.

The lesson is that the support of your allies is important. And that support is achieved when the leaders of the nations with which we are allied enjoy the support of their population. In Spain 90% of the population disagreed with Aznar on Iraq. The Spanish would have rallied behind their leader, if bush had pursued policies conducive to unity, rather than policies that today have earned our country the disaffection of the entire world.
