My only point was that hiring actors to 'play' like they are reporters... then distributing the propaganda piece to gullable local news outlets who might be expected to run it without much due dilligence --- is not something the taxpayers should be paying for.

If a campaign wants to hand out free videos to local stations in the hope that they will run them, that's another thing. More power to 'em.
