The Double Standard Position:
1. Other nations (like China) are inhumane, because of their executions, but my nation isn't. I will only criticize other nations for this.

Non-Double Standard Positions:
2. The Death penalty is inhumane, anywhere.
3. It is acceptable for all nations to use the death penalty, and for each nation to decide on their own what crimes are capital.

My position is #2. Yours sounds like #1. Correct me if I misunderstood.
