That's a very interesting angle to this whole global commerce discussion- one that, obviously, doesn't have a lot of traction for people in the US because they mostly care about people in the US- but it's very interesting. Are the Indians doing anything about this? It reminds me of Gandhi, and his efforts to have local textile and salt industries (among other things). Do you think there will be a backlash in India against foreign investment (or exploitation, if you prefer that term)- or is the backlash already here?
