Far from showing Al Qaeda's weakness, attacks on civilians show their strength in that they are shifting tactics to maximize damage. They finally woke up and realized that they can hit at American warships and troops all day and have about as much affect as a fly biting King Kong. Hit the civilians and there is a devestating impact because here in the West we feel that every life is a precious treasure, whereas Al Qaeda and many Middle Easterners think nothing of throwing away their own lives in pursuit of Jihad.
