SAMSys Technologies and SafeTzone Technologies make life more amusing with an RFID enabled System that includes Location Services and Cashless Spending

RFID technology allows parents to locate family members easily, and eliminates necessity of carrying cash or waiting in long lines at amusement parks across North America
TORONTO, March 16 /CNW/ - SAMSys Technologies Inc. (SMY:TSX-VEN) ("SAMSys"), an international provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) hardware solutions, today announced the successful integration of its RFID readers into The SafeTzone Technologies System, which includes a host of guest services Including Location Services, Amenity Locator, Cashless Spending Module, and a Reservation System.
Using The SafeTzone System, a family or group begins their park experience by registering their group through The SafeTzone RegiStation(TM) software, which is RFID enabled. Family members can scan their SafeTzone Locator(TM) with an RFID reader at The SafeTzone LocationStation(TM) kiosks located around the park. The map that appears on the LocationStation(TM) screen shows the location of each family or group member as well as the many amenities and their location throughout the park. This helps individuals separated from their group find each other. The Cashless Spending Module or "electronic wallet" component of the application allows the SafeTzone Locator(TM) to be used as a debit card so money doesn't get lost, wet or stolen. The SafeTzone System(TM) allows park guests to have a worry free day and enjoy their park visit.

The SafeTzone Locator(TM), about the size of a watch, is given to amusement park visitors upon their arrival. The SafeTzone Locator(TM) acts as a payment device but also provides other capabilities for that individual within the park such as location of other group members or amenities within the park, access to messages, cashless spending, and a reservation system. Using SafeTzone Locators(TM) and SAMSys' RFID readers The SafeTzone System(TM) is making the entertainment park experience more enjoyable and less frustrating for families and groups.

- The SafeTzone Reservation Module is an electronic reservation solution
designed to reduce or eliminate wait-times usually associated with
popular rides. Guests wear a SafeTzone Locator(TM) that is now enabled
to let them reserve times on popular attractions.
- The SafeTzone System(TM) also has features such as, guest messaging,
email, amenity locator, and route planner.
