Please, dear God, let it be true. :1

via MacOS Rumors

1) Gossamer motherboard upgrades more widely available that once thought...

>According to several trusted sources, if Apple does indeed offer a full
line of Gossamer motherboard upgrades for older Macs, that it would
most likely include a number of old Performas and NuBus PowerMacs,
as well as the PCI PowerMacs and the Quadra 800/900 series. Although
some models, such as the Performa 475 and **PowerMacintosh 61xx** (me ... me!), may
not be have enough space inside their casings to make features like
Processor-upgradeable Daughtercards and PCI slots viable, they are still
apparently under consideration for this upgrade. If these smaller-case
models indeed received upgrades, the boards would likely include
mid-range PowerPC 740 processors.<

2) No More Disgruntled Postal Workers.

>I also was told that WebObjects and the Apple team were chosen to
create the world's largest Intranet, for none other than the U.S. Postal
Service. This would be rolled out for all post offices, then general web
access would be rolled out later for the public. This is huge....... <
