Osicom Technologies, Inc./DPI Print Server Division (NASDAQ: FIBR), today announced a collaboration with Banyan Systems Incorporated
(NASDAQ:BNYN) to support Banyan VINES(R) and StreetTalk(R) for Windows NT(R) environments using TCP/IP.
A first step in this collaboration will be the forthcoming release of NETPrint(TM) Version 4.0 enabling VINES printing over native TCP/IP networks. This offering
will support Banyan VINES users, which include over half of the Fortune 1000 companies, who have or are currently implementing VINES networks with TCP/IP.
Banyan supports TCP/IP for VINES and StreetTalk for Windows NT networks. This provides Banyan customers with more transmission options and leverages
wide-spread support of TCP/IP. Osicom/DPI's NETPrint Version 4.0.will support Banyan customers using TCP/IP.
