Dow Jones Newswires PALO ALTO, Calif. -- For the second year in a row, Veritas Software Corp. (VRTS) is restating revenue and income from the tenure of former Chief Financial Officer Kenneth Lonchar. The keyword here I think is FORMER. many of these companies just want to come clean and get things in order. No doubt the market still has a bad taste in their mouth with Enron, Worldcon, etc. So it's "shoot first ask questions later" mentality. Not too mention, this market is not forgiving of news like these at the moment. If the same news had come out few months ago, it would have been a "so what?" I've got VRTS on my trade list. <g>
