TP, Bush didn't need to elevate anything. The images of the Twin Towers falling were obscene enough. Those images made the "criminals" victorious martyrs to America's enemies. Even today, those images are used in promoting the jihad. By the way, I wonder how many more "crimes" have to take place before you realize that these guys are indeed waging war against us. Peter Bergen had it right (though you'll be happy to know that he isn't a supporter of the Iraq war). You, on the other hand, are still in denial. Tenchusatsu
