Holly, my high school class of '61 had its first and only reunion 30 years later. It was held in the small hometown and more than 60% of the surviving folks of our class of 110, along with several teachers, attended. I did much of the organizing work, including the letter writing, so afterward received many notes of sincere thanks for the wonderful weekend that it was. Many of us had gone thru the entire 12 years of public school together, so the reunion was a revisiting of our formative years, and a very memorable experience it was. An oddity that I observed was that while most of us came from distant locations, there were a few locals who showed no interest in attending.
