TP, If this were really a war it would end like most wars, through negotiation and settlement after the sides exhaust themselves.

News flash: Al Qaeda isn't exhausted. They've been energized since 9/11, and no amount of negotiation, settlement, or denial is going to "exhaust" them. They are waging a war against you and I, and all you want to do is treat them like common crooks and anarchists. That way you can not only avoid the reality of jihad, but you can also blame it all on Bush.
