That is factually ludicrous. The Nasdaq fall certainly could never have amounted to just a bump in the road. It had behind it the downward impetus we sentient beings all felt before Bush ever took office. This isn't a canoe, this is a battleship, and it takes time to turn it. The recession which began, as you note later here, in March of 2001, just 2 months into Bush Administration and prior to any Bush actions being put in place let alone working their way through the economy so that we'd notice, simply could not have resulted from Bush's actions. All that happened was that what was ALREADY BEEN HAPPENING under Clintons watch, kept going for 2 more months under Bush (after about 10 months of same under Clinton), and presto chango an official recession was born. Get real, or keep us LOL'ing, your choice.
