Hi stockman_scott; Interesting editorial. Here's two paragraphs from it: ... For the U.S.-led war on terror, the Spanish election upset is a sobering development on several levels. President George W. Bush and his team insist the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq take the fight to the terrorist enemy - implying that they help prevent assaults on U.S. soil. The Spanish attacks, the bloodiest in Europe since the last world war, show how shallow is that hope. Men with backpacks, rudimentary explosives, mobile phones and the ability to blend into a crowd exist in all countries of the world.
