"Liberal" doesn't even mean much anymore. I would definie liberal as Dennis Kucinich. But those ideals are a minority view and JK doesn't agree with them. All "liberal" is is an over0used label. Many aspects of liberalism are gone for good, others would be very helpful to the country now. It's really what we need, all labeling aside. Not old-style liberalism, forget about it. Ancient history.

On the key issues, JK is a new kind of strong centrist progressive. He works closely with GOP moderates like McCain and will find win-win ways of getting us back on the right path, with a few new changes of course to adjust for current realities. Notice that moste evry attack the RNC can come up with is looking back 20 years ago. JK has changed a lot since then. Most of us have. 20 years ago GW Bush was an alcoholic.
