Biden on Hardball came out for kerry/mccain when pressed. He went on to say that a fusion candidacy would end the division of red and blue states.
I would add that Mccain would hold kerrys feet to the fire on key issues and give the backbone that teddy kennedy doesnt give him. It would be a bold stroke.
Also polls now show bush ahead by 4 points. mike
PS Biden also speculated that the bush admin was deeply divided on post 6/30 iraq and who would replace bremer as our rep. Also divided on bringing in europeans who are ready either thru nato or 5 permanent SC memebers running the show. Biden thought Cheney was influencing bush the most about keeping euros out.
PPS Kerry/McCain vs Bush/Giuliani now that would be excited.
