Perhaps you did not see the news about Libya giving up WMD. We have some dialog with Iran, yes still a big problem but progress without question. And then of course, there was an interim constitution in Iraq. You most certainly did not see the human rights protest in Syria last week, a direct result of the Syrians comparing their rights to those confirmed by the Iraqi constitution.

In the first nationwide pole conducted in Iraq, Some 57 percent of respondents said life was better now than under Saddam, against 19 percent who said it was worse and 23 percent who said it was about the same.
