MADRID (Reuters) - Several thousand protesters have taken to the streets of Madrid to back outgoing Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar and accuse the Socialists of exploiting the train bombings to win power.

Looks like Spain is as divided as we are...


Al, yes, the Socialists did not win by a landslide. Its the fact that they won, that was the big surprise.......not that they got an overwhelming mandate. That's why I didn't understand Zapatero's reaction.........dissing the US and talking about pulling the troops from Iraq.

Apparently, not only are they are as divided as we are but they dislike each other just about as much.
