TC,

Thanks for the response. I was hoping it would boot far enough to get where I could use F8 and "last good configuration", but it keeps asking for a "system disk" before it boots. Went to www.bootdisk.com but don't know which to use for a bootdisk for WIN 2000 Pro. It shows a number of them with no explanation of what to do with them:

Windows 2000 And NT4 Setup Disk Sets

W2K Pro: Disk1 | Disk2 | Disk3 | Disk4
makeboot.exe | makebt32.exe

Do you have any idea which one I should be using as a "System Disk" just to get it to boot so I can get to F8... and hopefully make it see the harddrive?

Also, since I have the WIN 2000 Pro CD and can get into setup, do you think if I change setup to boot from the CD (if it will) before looking for the harddrive and then use the "Repair" option on the CD that it might get me up and running? Unfortunately, don't think I'll be able to get it to boot from the CD, so probably need the "System Disk" first... but which one of the above is the "System Disk"? I do have an Emergency Recovery Disk (is that a "System Disk"?), but haven't tried it yet.

TIA,

Marty
