Re: the commander in chief seems to have the IQ of a Texas fence post. Trouble is there are so many who think that fence posts make good buddies. I met one today. She was a blithering idiot. Didn't know a damn thing about the legal maneuvering that Jim Baker used in November-December, 2000 to persuade the Supreme Court to eviscerate state's rights. But she was certain that George Bush had "won". When I mentioned to her that the Supreme Court had previously declared that "money is free speech" in a cynical sop to the Republicans, all I got back from her was the same vacant stare one gets from a browsing deer.
