Maybe Bush should admit defeat, sign articles of surrender, and reach out to embrace al Qaeda. He'd gain instant popularity in the polls and Europe would love us again. After all, Europe's and the world's approval is our "raison d'etre," isn't it? Wasn't this once-great nation founded on the principle of, "achieving and maintaining Europe's approval?" Is that what the school books are teaching nowadays?
