I don't think people are rejoicing at the death and darkness. Instead they are furious at Bush and his cronies for the way he has conducted the war on terrorism. We are enraged that Bush and a few nations abandoned the actual war on terrorism in Afghanistan and instead took off in Iraq.

The Spaniards felt that Aznar was not fighting the war on terrorism. Kerry has clearly stated that he is going to reestablish the coalition of nations and redirect US efforts to resume the war in Afghanistan along with the French, Germans and Russians. The imminent threat is from the terrorists in Afghanistan and not from Iraq. Here is a vintage Bush lie.

We did not have any attacks when the coalition forces in Afghanistan had the Al Qaeda on the run in the mountains of Tora Bora. The terrorists were running for their lives and they did not have time to plan and coordinate any attacks.

And then when Bush let up and turned towards Iraq, they got a breather, regrouped and the series of bombings we have today is an outcome of that.

The war on terrorism has gone astray. Bush needs to go. Increasing number of Americans are realizing this. They are also realizing that the terrorism movement has become very intense and at this point even Osama's capture would not have much of an impact on the terrorists.

Let us not accuse the Spaniards instead of acknowledging the failure of Bush. That in itself is another outrageous behavior.
