Hi DJ, I am working on 3D things these days and I am waiting for the markets to crash, so have not been cruising the byways of Internet as diligently.

I missed this post of yours on Pt.

My hoard of physical Pt is as before, quietly asleep next to some Au physical, in a box, deep underground, in CBD Hong Kong.

My Pt miner, Impala Platinum, is 10% higher in Rand terms, approximately double in USD terms, and has just paid out another dividend, returning 7.2% since first purchase June 12th, 2002, and second purchase of equal # shares March 12th, 2003.

On Pt use in China, yes, folks do seem to value it more than gold, and there does seem to be less of Pt in the world than there is Au. USD 900/oz for Pt is cheap, because USD is cheap. I will not likely part with my Pt for anything less than USD 5000/oz in inflation adjusted 2004 dollars.

I cannot conveniently add to Pt bullion, because all the banks in town have stopped selling them years ago, but still buys them back should anyone want to sell them.

Chugs, Jay
