It probably will surprise no one that LIttle Mary Sunshine had a great time in high school (and college), has gone to reunions, had a terrific time at them, and still keeps in touch with several classmates from high school and many from college. Sometimes my predictability is awfully boring. I suffered little adolescent angst, except when my boyfriend left me for a girl named Blair, a name I have since despised, and when I went down in a spelling bee on the first round on "recommendation". You mention that you were from a small town, as was I, and I wonder if that is why our memories are so much warmer. I know Dan and X both graduated in classes of 800-1000. He went to his first reunion last summer and won't again. He has no warm fuzzy feelings about it at all. I think he just wanted to see his hometown and he came home very glad that he'd left.
