I think that problem is less than the outsourcing issue though. I know many people with degrees in Computer Science. Blaming poor science education in the US is not really correct. That may be true for today's students - but what about the people with Computer Science B.S. degrees, minors in math, GPA 3.2-3.5, and 10-20 years of experience, that find their jobs have evaporated? We could spend as much as we want on science and math education - but much would be wasted if we allow all of the higher skill jobs that require these skills to go abroad.
