Maybe we should import teachers, firemen, police - I'm sure we could get millions to come here for 20K per year. No - it would not be tolerated in teaching - you have the teacher's unions to protect teachers jobs. The problem is that most white-collar professionals have zero protection. It is easy for those that are fully protected - to point out that they are against any protections - since they will not be affected. We get what we want here. I have no desire to see the US turn into a third-world country.
