John Kerry's piss poor record on defense is an issue. The congressional record is quite clear and consistent. If it were one or two bills, you might have a point but this is simply not the case. It is a long history of voting against programs. Moreover, Kerry was in the very small minority on the elimination of the B2, and the Intelligence cuts, (and others) - 75% of the senate was opposed to Kerry. The F14, F15 and F-16 votes show 80% of the senate opposed to Kerry. This is not a middle of the road moderate we are talking about here. He is an extreemist with a clear agenda. John effin Kerry ran for congress on a platform of cutting the military and intelligence spending. In this he kept his promise.
