Shelby is the GOP's top guy on counter-terrorism and intellgence, if I'm not mistaken, and he and JK agreed on the same issues the GOP is attaking JK for now. Such hypocrisy. Dick Lugar is the GOP's top guy on foreign affairs. Lugar has also been aghast at some of these neocons flagrantly reckless moves around the globe. McCain has supported GW on Iraq but says we need more troops and better planning. McCain also calls Bush and the GOP congress "corrupt" and "spending ike drunken sailors".
