Once you convince yourself that the Others are mindless automatons with unlimited ambitions, then you are never willing to negotiate or compromise on anything. Force becomes your response to any and all problems.

The ironic thing is, that's exactly the way they think of us, too. And they have just as many facts and historical events and statements by our leaders, to prove it. Their reasons for demonizing us, are just as good as ours.

Will you change your mind, and decide that compromises are possible, if in fact there are no more attacks on Spain (as the terrorists have just promised)? Or is this Belief a matter of Faith, not amenable to influence by Facts or Reason?
