Kerry voted ’to eliminate all funding for the B2”, senate.gov Why did Kerry vote this way? It cost too much and we don’t need it, according to Kerry. thomas.loc.gov What is too much when we are talking the price of defending the nation? We don't need it is pretty absurd, then and now. In any case he is in the marked minority with 69 voting against the amendment and 28 for it. The congressional record shows a clear lack of vision and looking forward. Only 3 republicans voted for this amendment, none of whom are senators any more. Shelby and Lugar are not running for president. I would venture to say they would do a Gephart in any primary.
