lorne, Hans Blix was interviewed on TV by O'Reilly some two days ago. He said something to the effect that, when his inspectors were there in Iraq they regularly received intelligence data from the US about sites where WMDs were. He would send his team in there the next day and they would find nothing. This went on for one month. And Hans Blix wondered how the US intelligence could still maintain and even trust their own intelligence. He even questioned the Bush Administration if they failed to realize that all their intelligence they provided to the inspectors so far was wrong. He was visibly upset at O'Reilly's belligerence during the interview.

So lorne, you cannot say that the intelligence was wrong and that Bush did not have the opportunity to see that. For one month, the inspectors told the US intelligence that. In the end the US arrogance took over, they kicked the inspectors and marched their troops in thinking that they would be successful once they were in. After that we know what happened.
