You don't think Greenspan's continued raising of interest rates slowed things down from what they otherwise would have been? It's hard for me to understand how you can say that in earnest. I suppose you also don't think he's stimulating things now? So interest rates don't matter in your eyes? Enron, WorldCom and Global Crossing, while unfortunate or even tragic, are statistical blips in the big picture. What is destroying America is the abandonment of fiscal responsibility (any kind of responsibility, for that matter) under Bush and the Republican Congress. JMHO. Charles Tutt (SM)
