Those polls don't prove a damn thing Karen. They don't
change the fact that it was the liberal left that
intentionally misled the world into believing that Iraq
had ties to 9/11. And the liberal left falsely claimed the
Bush Admin linked 9/11 to Al Qaeda. They did this because
they knew there wasn't any clear link & used it to
discredit the Bush Admin & to further their anti-war
message.

If you are so sure that the Bush Admin misled people into
believing that Iraq was involved in 9/11, you should have
no problem providing links to their verbatim quotes from
Admin officials to that effect. It would be widely
reported & easily found as the liberal media would have
hung any Bush Admin official out to dry. And every
democratic Presidential candidate would have used it to
their great advantage.

Why didn't they? Because it NEVER happened.

At best you will find Bush Admin officials talking about
links between Iraq & Al Qaeda (which was a genuine reason
to remove Saddam), but they never, ever claim that Iraq
was involved in 9/11.

Saddam, and 9/11

.....In the first place, no one in the administration ever
claimed that Saddam was responsible for 9/11. The
president pinned blame for that attack firmly on Al Qaeda.
But the president and his administration also clearly
stated that the war on terror was not limited to Al Qaeda,
that it was a global war that would be fought on many
fronts. The Axis of Evil included (in addition to Iraq)
North Korea and Iran, neither of whom bears direct
responsibility for 9/11 either. And the administration has
dispatched troops to the Philippines as well as
Afghanistan and Iraq.

Democrats point to polls showing that large numbers of
Americans believe there was a link between Saddam and the
attacks on 9/11. Now, how could people come to that
belief?.....
