A sane spine is what the US desperately needs. Old friends re-appear and new ones can be made. Isolates the bad guys. Better than creating more of 'em. Kerry/McCain is the best combo I can think of to accomplish that. Maybe pull in Jesse Ventura as the Secretary of Pork Barrel Reduction, or as Bush would call it if he cared, the "War on Pork".
