Sorry kholt, I'm going to reply regardless of your sincere
attempt to tell me to shut up & to quit
inappropriately 'going off' on you - yes, that's the
essence of your meanspirited diatribe about me, so please
refrain from pulling a "Kerry" & nuance another flip flop.

Bottom line. You were wrong on both accounts in that
statement, "But the misunderstanding that Iraqis were
involved contributed mightily to US popular support for
the war."

That "misunderstanding" was a blatant partisan act of
treachery IMO. Many liberal politicians & liberal media
journalists outright lied & blatantly distorted this issue
intentionally. It may not have resulted in its' intended
effect, but they created the misleading notion that Iraq
was involved in 9/11. The intent was to discredit the Bush
Admin by falsely claiming the Bush Admin made a link
between Iraq & Al Qaeda, then from that, turn Americans
against the war.

I also take issue with your assertion that
it, "contributed mightily to US popular support for the
war". IMO, that's another revisionist view of events also
helped along by the liberal left.

BTW, I provide links to evidence that clearly supports my
POV. I realize this also goes against the revisionist
history you frequently post, but that's why I include it.
Your replies attempting to nuance what your originally
said or what you really meant are seen as just that.
