Dave, That was a big car, and could the driver a kick in the ass. I think I have you beat on size for an older car. I had a 59 or 60 Pontiac Grand Prix, two door, new, when I was about to get married for the first time. We went to New Orleans for the "honeymoon??" and stayed in a hotel in the French Quarter which had an elevator to take cars up to the garage area. After checking in, and getting to the room, the front desk called and said we had a problem. The damn thing was too big for the elevator, and had to be left parked on the street. I could have put a piano in that trunk. I pegged that thing out on a country road at 120, but in going over a slight rise in the road, got airborne, and let off the pedal in a flash.
