I'm surprised by your response. What would you have them do? Extending unemployment insurance has become a tried and true, minimally statist way to approach the problem--it does some good for the folks affected, doesn't create a permanent entitlement, and doesn't muck up the free market system. I'm surprised that your libertarian self would be asking for more. What's on your mind?
