We have the most powerful military on the planet. We have consensus on most of our most useful and powerful weapons system. What you have posted is useless rhetoric. The RNC has posted these excerpts from the congressional record so that folks like would be duped into thinking that Kerry is weak on defense. I know that he's not. John McCain knows that he's not.

What does trouble me is that Bush in his rush to war, has sent our fighting men and women into battle without adequate equipment such as body armor and armored HV's. This is a matter of logistics and is not related to any weapons system. But the lack of properly supplying these needed items has lead to more casualties in Iraq than any of the items you posted.

The RNC will try to focus on the non issues, because the problems at hand created by the Bush administration are indefensible. The war on terror is a disaster, and the domestic problems loom larger everyday.
