Al, I'm stating the way things are in Korea, not the way things ought to be in America. Koreans at least understand the need for a draft; most of them live about 50-100 km from a communist country. Americans, on the other hand, aren't going to buy into the idea of a draft just to prove some political point. If a war is unpopular, fewer people will volunteer for it. It's that simple.
