I agree that "Pixar: Why is dropping" is the appropriate thread to be on, as I said on the "Why is climbing" thread a couple of weeks ago.

I bought in at 22, just before it popped to 25 with Q1 earnings. I wish I had sold then. I had heard that the bulk of Toy Story's revenues wouldn't hit until the 2nd quarter, but it looks like that was incorrect.

I had hoped to see $.70 to $.80 for this year in earnings, but we'll be lucky to see $.40. With a P/E in the 20-40 range (for IPO's), that gives Pixar's stock a range of $8 to $16.

This stock will be a dog until Pixar gets away from Disney. The only thing I like about Pixar is the cool poster that I got with my annual report. (Of course the poster cost me $2000. Maybe it'll be a collector's item in the future, and I'll recoup my losses.)
